A Kansas City man was shot in the leg early Sunday morning after a fight outside of Allstars, 913 N 2nd St., Lawrence police said. He is being treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and is believed to be in good condition, Lawrence Police Sergeant Susan Hadl said.

The shooting followed a fight that occurred among ten to fifteen people outside the club. Police who responded to the fight recovered a weapon from one Allstars patron and are interviewing several witnesses.

According to witnesses, a second man fired the shot that hit the Kansas City man in the leg, Sgt. Hadl said. Authorities are looking for a black male in a white hooded sweatshirt.

No further information was available early Sunday.
