The University Bridge Club announces results of its Oct. 27 meeting. Hosts were Tom and Cathy Waller, with Roy and Wilma Cropp. Blue winners were Mary Gaumer, first; Tom Waller, second; Lois Liebert, third; Alice Akin, fourth; and Roy Cropp, fifth. Pink winners were Florine Creek, first; Florence McNicoll, second; Ailene Bocquin, third; Cora Kuepker, fourth; and Myrna Ikenberry, fifth.

¢The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club’s game Oct. 24 was directed by Chris Lane. The North-South players were led by Carol Ball and Chris Lane, who won first in A and B, followed by Ed Howard and Bobby Patton at second in A. Pat Musick and Ann Thompson were third in A, second in B and first in C, with Catherine Blumenfeld and Grant Sutton placing second in C.

The East-West players were led by Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges, who won first in A and B, followed by Eldon Herd and Mark Osborn at second in A and B. Chuck Hedges and Mona Bell were third in A and first in C.

¢The Thursday Morning Mentor Bridge Club’s game Oct. 25 was directed by Chris Lane. Elle Patton and Virginia Seaver placed first, with Marilyn Martin and Ann Tams in second place. Grant Sutton and Wanna Roszel placed third.

¢The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s game Oct. 26 was directed by Virginia Seaver. The North-South players were led by James Masilamani and Jeffrey Nash, with Chris Lane and Mona Bell placing second in A and first in B.

Sally Taylor and Klee Zaricky were third in A and second in B, followed by Janice Hollowell and Jolene Andersen at first in C. Betty Spalsbury and Robert Anderson were second in C.

The East-West winners were Mark Osborn and Bobby Patton at first in A and B, with David Piro and Paul Heitzman at second in A. John Fittell and Ed Howard were third in A, followed by Chuck Hedges and Yvonne Hedges at second in B. Grant Sutton and Betty Collier placed first in C.

¢The Sunday Afternoon Bridge Club’s game Oct. 28 was directed by Chris Lane. The game ended with a five-way tie for first place by Ed Howard, Craig Huneke, Jeremy Martin, Marilyn Martin and Jeff Mermin.

¢The Monday Evening Bridge Club’s game Oct. 29 was directed by Virginia Seaver. Donna Johnson and Peter Petillo placed first in the North-South players, followed by Lois Jones and Judy Hildreth. Harry Shaffer and Ed Howard were third, while Chris Lane and Virginia Seaver placed fourth in A. Jolene Andersen and Pat Musick placed first in B and C, with Jeffrey Nash and Virginia Hamilton placing second in B.

East-West had a tie for first place in A between Jerry Sloan and Emily Foster, with John Hickey and Stephen Day. Craig Huneke and Jeff Mermin placed third in A but first in B and C. Barbara Merriam and Dorothy Netson were fourth in A and second in B.
