Applications for permits to hunt antelope are being mailed to last year’s applicants. Applications also are available at www.kdwp.state.ks.us, and may be filed online.

June 8 is the deadline for muzzleloader and firearm permits. Muzzleloader season will be Oct. 1-8. Firearms season will be Oct. 5-8.

Archery permits may be purchased through Oct. 30. That season is split – Sept. 22-30 and Oct. 13-31.

Thirty-eight muzzleloader and 114 firearms permits are available this year. Only Kansas residents are eligible for those permits.

An unlimited number of archery permits is available, and trends indicate that about 190 residents will obtain permits.
