CASTLE ROCK, COLO. ? A false imprisonment charge against Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall stemming from a domestic dispute was dismissed Friday.

The charge was dropped after Marshall completed anger-management classes, said Kathleen Walsh, a spokeswoman for the Douglas County district attorney.

Marshall was arrested in March after a woman who identified herself as his girlfriend said Marshall used his vehicle to block her taxi as she tried to leave his home south of Denver.

She said they had been arguing.

“I think when a complete investigation was done and all the facts were brought to light, it was clear why Brandon did what he did,” said Harvey Steinberg, Marshall’s attorney. “They (prosecutors) agreed to take a second look and came to this conclusion.”
