Fortunately I had no cavities

I learned that my front left what-ever-it's call tooth is VERY sensitive and I never want it touched again.

Somehow, recording a trip to the dentist isn’t my idea of how I wanted to be spending my day. I thought about taking my camera but decided that would be overkill. After all, who wants to see the inside of my mouth.

I learned that my front left what-ever-it’s call tooth is VERY sensitive and I never want it touched again. I’m supposed to use sensitive toothpaste from now on. As it is, air hurts it. But there’s no cavity.

I also learned that some new ‘mint-flavored’ gritty tooth cleaning stuff is AWFUL. It’s the worst-tasting thing I’ve had in my mouth in years. I even had to rub it off my tongue, it was so bad. Thank goodness they had the regular old-fashioned kind. The dental tech said that 90 percent of people prefer the mint flavor. I think she made that figure up. No one could prefer the taste of dandelion-flavored dead things in their mouth.

Fortunately I had no cavities…which was the start of what turned out to be a much better day. (And my yoga instructor had her picture taken by the Journal-World working in her flower garden. Now SHE started off the day right.)
