Kansas University faculty retirees singled out for special honors during commencement were J. Neale Carman, John Nelson, Walter Sandelius, Sara Patterson, Edna Hill, John Bradley, Frances Grinstead and Helen Adam.

Roy Edwards Jr. of Kansas City, Kan. was voted new national president of the Kansas University Alumni Association for the coming year.
