My name is Matthew, and I am a fifth-grader at the Lawrence Virtual School. I have been home-schooled the last four years.
Because I learn best while I am moving around, home school has been good for me. I also like it because I can sleep in. I am free to ask any question and discuss anything I want.
We studied American history the last two years, and I got a good view of the 1960s because my mom grew up in that time period.
What I do not like about home school is not being able to see my friends during the school day.
