Chiefs agree with free agents

? The Kansas City Chiefs said Monday they had agreed to terms of two-year contracts with 16 rookie free agents.

The biggest is 330-pound defensive tackle Stanley Doughty of South Carolina, who appeared in 33 games and had 52 tackles and three sacks.

The others are tackle George Batiste of Southern Mississippi, cornerback Tyron Brackenridge of Washington State, linebacker Brian Crum of Florida, wide receiver Brad Ekwerekwu of Missouri, safety Marlon Fair of Hampton, and defensive linemen Chris Harris, Alabama; Michael Heard, Mississippi State; and Matt McGlothlin, Tennessee.

Also signed were tight end Wes Murphy, Arkansas; tackle James Newby, North Carolina State; running back Marcus O’Keith, California; quarterback Jeff Terrell, Princeton; and wide receivers Maurice Price, Charleston Southern; Ean Randolph, South Florida; and Titus Ryan, Concordia.
