From the Lawrence Daily World for May 6, 1907: “Saturday night, marshal C.B. Kincaid saw a man looking into the window at the E.L. Woolsey residence at 1011 Tennessee and shot at him. The shot missed but scared the man away. However, he forgot his hat and it is probable he will be identified by the hat. : The Kansas baseball team has beaten Missouri twice in a three-game series and word is this year’s KU team is an exceptional one. Missouri reportedly came here expecting to win all three games.”
