Girl Scout Troop 612, from the Girl Scouts of Kaw Valley Council, donated $200 to Pathways Animal Assisted Therapy Inc. on April 4.

The girls used money earned through cookie sales for the donation, which will help Pathways give scholarships to its students.

Pathways is a nonprofit therapeutic riding organization that provides programs for children and adults with physical, mental or emotional disabilities.

¢Cub Scout Pack 3057, chartered to the St. John Catholic School PTO, conducted a pack meeting April 10. Tiger Scouts who received their Bobcat Badge include Stephen Cory, Colton Sommer, George Haff IV, Zachary Malsbury, David Johnson, Jacob Lashley and Jimmy Cooper. Nora Murphy, the pack’s day camp coordinator, gave a presentation.
