To the editor:

What a wonderful evening I spent at Pinckney School. The occasion was a music program performed by the first- and second-graders.

It was the finest primary music program I had ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot after 35 years of teaching).

The students were well-behaved and very well-coached. The music was lively and fun and the audience was enthralled.
