Israel Police want to question Israeli President Moshe Katsav on new allegations in addition to the rape and sexual assault charges he already faces, officials said Monday.
In January, Attorney General Meni Mazuz announced his intention to indict the president on charges of rape, sexual assault and fraud in the cases of women who used to work in his office.
"Over the last several weeks, a new complaint was received and based on this complaint police will be questioning Katsav again in the near future," police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said. "These are new allegations, a new complaint. They have nothing to do with the previous charges."
