Tulsa, Okla. ? Junior Ashley Brown set a school record in the women’s 100-meter hurdles Saturday at the season-opening Tulsa Duels.

Brown won the event in 13.31 seconds, good for an NCAA regional mark. She also finished second in the 400 hurdles with a regional mark.

Other KU winners included Crystal Manning (women’s long jump), Barrett Saunders (men’s long jump), Cody Roberts (men’s discus), Abby Emsick (women’s discus), Libby Harmon (women’s pole vault), and Stephanie Horton (women’s shot put).

Each of the winners except Harmon achieved regional qualifying marks.

The Jayhawks will return to action April 5-7 at the Texas Relays in Austin.
