Kansas University's Public Safety Office issued a crime alert Thursday after a female KU student's purse was stolen.

According to a police report, the woman was walking near Jayhawk Boulevard and Lilac Lane on the KU campus when three male suspects stole her purse.

The suspects, who Capt. Schuyler Bailey of the KU Public Safety Office said were juveniles, then ran away behind Watson Library.

KU officers arrested two of them; one remains at large.

Stick these punks in the lockup with their parents. Teach them all a lesson. I would highly encourage KU women to avoid carrying purses. Stick your money/condoms/whatever in your pocket. No, I'm not blaming the victim. I just don't want to see any more of this or anything that becomes more violent.
