Adviser completes investment training

Kent Tomlinson, an associate vice president and financial adviser for Morgan Stanley’s Global Wealth Management Group in Lawrence, has completed an investment consultant training program conducted by Morgan Stanley and The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

The program’s goals included helping participants improve their knowledge of portfolio theory, better identify the factors affecting a portfolio’s performance, and to better understand legal and regulatory issues pertaining to investment management.

Tomlinson, a Lawrence resident, has more than 30 years of experience as a financial adviser.
