Museum celebrates women’s history

The Watkins Community Museum of History has announced a family event titled “G is for Girl Power,” part of a celebration of National Women’s History Month.

Families can create an autograph book and bookmark after hearing amazing stories about women from America’s past. The story hour is appropriate for children of all ages.

The free program will run from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. March 31 at the museum, 1047 Mass. For more information, call 841-4109.

The Watkins Community Museum of History is operated by the Douglas County Historical Society.
