Engineers to help inform about sewer line project
An upcoming meeting will inform residents about a sewer line project that is expected to disrupt traffic in the 1400, 1500 and 1600 blocks of Tennessee Street.
The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lawrence High School cafeteria, 19th and Louisiana streets.
The project is expected to begin early summer and will last until Aug. 1.
Engineers will be at the meeting to go over potential construction scenarios for replacing the aging sewer line. City staff members will incorporate input from the meeting when developing final plans for the project.
