University Bridge Club announces results of its March 3 meeting. Hosts were Harold and Donna Riehm. Blue winners were Leonard Fleske, first; Bebe Huxtable, second; Hazel Stellmacher, third; George Bocquin, fourth, and Harold Riehm, fifth. Pink winners were Dottie Miller, first; Alice Akin, second; Cora Keupker, third; Lois Liebert, fourth; and Myrna Ikenberry, fifth.

¢The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at eight tables directed by Chris Lane on Feb. 28. Virginia Seaver and Phyllis Brownlee won first in A playing North-South, followed by Ed Howard and Grant Sutton who won second. Ann Thompson and Pat Musick won third in A and first in both B and C. Cathy Blumenfeld and Lois Clark won second in B.

Judy Bevan and Shari Krentzel led the East-West pairs winning first in both A and B. Klee Zaricky and Betty Collier won second in A and Marge Hitchcock won third as well as second in B and first in C. Marilyn Martin and Clarice Broz won second in C and third in B.

¢The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at eight and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver on March 2. At North-South, Klee Zaricky and Virginia Seaver won first in A, and Eldon Herd and Chuck Hedges won second in A and first in B. Lynn Hui and Harry Shaffer won third in A. Yvonne Hedges and Chris Lane won second in B. Mona Bell and Betty Collier won first in C and third in B.

Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro led the East-West pairs, winning first in A, followed by Shari Krentzel and Debbi Bettinger who won second in A and first in both B and C. Mark Osborn and Bobby Patton won third in A and second in B. Clara Elkins and Bob Dailey of Emporia won second in C and third in B.

¢The Sunday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Howell movement at four tables directed by Chris Lane on March 4. Yvonne and Chuck Hedges won first in A, and Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough won second. Addie Nyquist and Ed Howard won third in A. Fran Vogel and Ginny Johnston won first in B. The Sunday game for March 18 has been canceled, but a Club Championship game and lunch party will begin at noon March 17.

¢The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at 11 1/2 tables directed by Virginia Seaver on March 5. Playing North-South, Pete Petillo and Dave Piro won first in A, followed by Ed Howard and John Fittel in second place. Third in A was won by Jerry Sloan and Eldon Herd. Yvonne Hedges and Phyllis Brownlee won first in B, and Martie Hartman and Patricia Burgstahler won second in B and first in C.

Elizabeth Jankord and Amit Chakrabarti of Manhattan won first in A at East-West. Paul Heitzman and Donna Johnson won second in A and Grant Sutton and James Masilamani won third. Barbara Merriam and Larry Brock of Topeka won first in B and C, followed by Bob Hemenway and Jambo Zhang, winning second in both strata, and Emily Foster and Sam Pierron who won third.
