To the editor:

Edward Goldberg’s discussion on energy on the March 5 opinion page hits the nail right on the head. If anyone is still wondering what we are doing in Iraq, the sixth paragraph should clear it up for you. I would only add the reasoned logic that (and this is based on an assumption) even if someone invented cars that run on turnip juice and sunshine tomorrow, the F-22 Raptor needs (assumption) super duper, highly refined dinosaur juice.
