Lubbock, Texas ? Megan Ronhovde scored 18 points to lead Iowa State to a 72-68 women’s basketball victory over Texas Tech on Thursday night.

Lyndsey Medders scored 16 for the Cyclones (22-7, 10-6 Big 12) and Toccara Ross had 10 rebounds as Iowa State got its first victory ever in Lubbock. The Cyclones had 11 three-pointers, just short of their season high of 14 three-pointers.
