Work on the Kenneth Spencer Research Library at Kansas University was reported progressing well and the current target date for completion was April of 1968.

Workers had completed the move of the Kansas University Extension Library from KU to the old Lawrence Post Office at Seventh and New Hampshire (now the Journal-World News Center). Virginia Maddox headed the library staff and T. Howard Walker was director of Extension.
