Chiefs, RB Smith agree

? The Kansas City Chiefs on Friday agreed to terms of a three-year contract with running back Kolby Smith.

Smith was drafted by the Chiefs in the fifth round of this year’s draft.

The 5-foot-11 Smith saw action in 45 games at Louisville including 14 starts, logging 316 carries for 1,892 yards with 18 touchdowns. He also added 56 receptions for 581 yards and two touchdowns.

Smith had 891 yards on 154 carries for Louisville last year, scoring seven touchdowns after starter Michael Bush was injured in the season opener.
