Anderson Golf Champ: Curt Anderson carded a 66 to win Sunday’s Jayhawk Golf Club weekly net tournament at Alvamar by one stroke over Mike Farve and Kent Beisner. Two strokes back were Randy Gebhards, Van Reichert and Tom Dennis. Mike Beaton had a 69. Steve Crawford and Mike Stein each recorded a 70. Beisner had the low gross with an even-par 72.

¢ Smith Hole-in-One: Bill Smith used a nine-iron last Friday to ace the 140-yard No. 3 hole at Eagle Bend Golf Course. Witnesses were Jon Broz and David Burkhead.

¢ Slow-Pitch Qualifier: Entry deadline is next Tuesday for an ASA Class D men’s slow-pitch national qualifier June 23-24 at Clinton Lake Softball Complex. The winner will receive a berth in the nationals Aug. 31-Sept. 3 in Topeka. For information, call Bob Stanclift at 832-7920.

¢ Double Aces: While playing in the same foursome, Paul Jordan and Paul Hensler recorded holes-in-one Tuesday at the Orchards. Jordan used a nine-iron to ace the 110-yard No. 4 hole and Hensley a pitching wedge on the 85-yard No. 8 hole. The other witnesses were Ray Wingbach and Bob Cawley.

¢ City Golf Deadline: Early entry deadline is June 22 for the city golf championships on June 30 at Eagle Bend and July 1 at Alvamar. Fees for the men’s, women’s, senior and super senior divisions will climb from $100 to $150 on June 23. Anyone who lives or works in Douglas County or belongs to a city golf club is eligible.
