Authorities said they believed a body found hidden in southwestern Douglas County was that of a 50-year-old Lawrence man missing under suspicious circumstances. District Attorney Mike Malone declined to release the name of the victim, found partially buried beneath a bridge in the extreme southwestern corner of the county. Officials declined to say if the two deaths were related.

A 37-year-old Topeka man who had headed Topeka’s redevelopment agency died at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after collapsing at a supermarket here. Robert M. Henry had died of an apparent heart attack.
