One person was flown to a Kansas City area hospital after a reported battery around 12:30 this morning near 10th and Massachusetts streets.

A police shift supervisor said this morning that the person’s condition did not appear to be life-threatening.

Lawrence police spokeswoman Kim Murphree said that officers responded there to a report of a battery. The department was waiting to review a report before releasing additional information later today about the incident, she said at 8:45 a.m.
