The Lawrence Raiders again had their 2007 American Legion Baseball debut pushed back Saturday due to wet weather.

After watching thunderstorms postpone Friday’s season opener at the Johnson County Community College Tournament, the Raiders found out the after effects of the downpours would prevent them from playing a doubleheader one day later.

They are now scheduled to open play today with a doubleheader slated to begin at 2 p.m. at Longview College in Kansas City, Mo.
