The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Howell movement at five and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver on May 16. Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won first in A, while Cathy Blumenfeld and Grant Sutton won second in A and first in B and C. Julia Brooks and Wanda Durbin won third in A. Mary Joyce and Jane Holliman won second in B and C, followed by Phyllis Brownlee and Chuck Hedges, who won third in both strata.

At East-West, Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won first in A, and Cathy Blumenfeld and Shirley Reese won first in B and second in A. Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges won second in B and third in A. Ellie and Bobby Patton won first in C and Madelyn Jenks and Jo Andersen won second.

On May 23, the club played a stratified Howell movement at five tables directed by Virginia Seaver. Wanda Durbin and Suzanne Wassmer won first in A, followed by Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro, who won second in A. Martie Hartman and Barbara Figgins won first in B and third in A.

¢The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at six and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver on May 18. Shirley Reese and Chris Lane, just back from a tournament in Oklahoma City, won first in A and B playing North-South. Lynn Hui and Harry Shaffer won second in A, followed by Janice Hollowell and Jean Otney, who won third in A and second in B. Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges won third in B.

At East-West, Shari Krentzel and Debbi Bettinger won first overall, placing first in A, B and C. Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won second in A, and Madelyn Jenks and Julia Brooks won third. Mary Joyce and Grant Sutton won second in B and C.

On May 25, the club played a stratified Howell movement at five and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver. Cathy Blumenfeld and Lynn Hui won first overall, placing first in A, B and C. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough won second in A, and Sally Taylor and Klee Zaricky won third in A and second in B. Madelyn Jenks and Mona Bell won second in C and third in B. Shari Krentzel and Lois Clark won third in C.

¢ The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at nine tables directed by Virginia Seaver on May 21. Playing North-South, Clyde Romer and Steven Phelps won first in A and B. Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough won second in A, and Jeff Nash and Jim Stewart of Topeka won third in A and second in B. Julia and Lester Dalton won third in B. Jo Andersen and Pat Musick won first in C.

Virginia Seaver and Paul Heitzman led the East-West pairs, winning first in A. Jeane Landry and Lynn Hui won second in A, and John Hickey and Jim Kelley won third. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty won first in B and C, followed by Dorothy Netson and Barbara Merriam, who won second in both strata. Eldon Herd and Emily Foster won third in B.

On May 28, the club played a stratified Mitchell movement at six and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver. Playing North-South, Jeane Landry and Harry Shaffer won first in A, and Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough won second. Lois Jones and Dorothy Netson won third in A. Clyde Romer and Vince Nordberg won first in B. Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee won first in C.
