Spruce up shoes with printed insoles

Don’t be spotted wearing plain insoles in your summer slingbacks – not when you could be wearing leopard spots or tiger stripes. The latest way to “cute up” your slides, mules or flip-flops is with funky, fun or even furry animal-pattern insoles.

Frisco-based SummerSoles. com has introduced a new line of animal-print “Suede Softness” peel-and-stick fabric strips ($7.95 each or $21 for three pairs, available only online).

But you can find the trend in stores, too. Look for Hue’s new Foot Printz – cushioned, antibacterial insoles in a zebra-print pattern ($6 each or $15 for three at department stores); Dr. Scholl’s For Her Sole Expressions foam cushion insoles ($9.99 for a three-pack).
