The Lawrence Apple Users’ Group 2.0’s next meeting, “Kicking the Microsoft Habit,” is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday in the community room at Signs of Life Bookstore, 722 Mass.

Organizers plan to show people how to do word processing, compile spreadsheets and devise presentations for free or at little cost, and without spending any money with Microsoft.

There is no cost to attend the meeting, and organizers welcome questions about other topics.
