Mike Zagurski, a former Kansas University pitcher, was optioned Friday to the Philadelphia Phillies’ Triple-A farm club in Ottawa, Canada.

The Phillies made the move when they activated right-hander Brett Myers from the 15-day disabled list. Myers went on the DL May 25 due to a right shoulder strain.

Zagurski, a left-handed reliever, went 1-0 with a 4.58 earned-run average in 23 appearances with Philadelphia.
