Wallace Weekly Winner: Keith Wallace fired a 67 and won the Jayhawk Golf Club's weekly net tournament Sunday at Alvamar. Gary Gatten shot 68 and Mike Beaton 69. Scores of 70 were posted by Curt Anderson, Robert Ward, Mike Naegele, Bob Losasso and William Patt. In gross compilations, Chris Anderson, Bob Bezik and Bud Stagg shared the low, each with a 74.

¢Long drivers advance: John Novosel Jr. hit a drive 402 yards and Sarah Trew hit one 325 yards in Topeka on July 21 to advance to the regionals in St. Louis in the REMAX World Long Drive Championship.
