Texas support

To the editor:

What is all this about Jim Ryun going to Texas to raise money for his campaign? Why does Mr. Ryun have to go to Texas to look for money to run for a Kansas congressional seat? Gov. Perry is backing Ryun with a $500 per person event and says that Ryun will support “our views in Congress.”

What is Jim Ryun thinking? Are you looking to work for Texas or Kansas, Jim? Could you not find support in Kansas? I couldn’t care less what they think or support in Texas. I don’t see Texans paying Kansas taxes or contributing to life here. I guess there could be some absentee landlords or business owners, but they take more money out of Kansas than they put in.

Maybe there was a good reason Congresswoman Boyda won the last election.
