Chicago markets

Agriculture futures rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for September delivery gained 22.25 cents to $6.235; December corn added 5.75 cents to $3.425; December oats edged up 0.75 cent to settle at $2.5125; November soybeans closed up 16 cents to $8.765. On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, August live cattle dropped 0.5 cent to 91.37 cents a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.42 cent to close at $1.154; August lean hogs fell 0.17 cent to 73.85 cents; August pork bellies rose 0.03 cent to 88.3 cents.
