Chicago markets

Agriculture futures plummeted Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for September delivery fell 19 cents to $6.0175 a bushel; December corn shed 20 cents to $3.485; December oats finished down 18.5 cents at $2.5525; November soybeans dropped 50 cents to $8.9875. On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, August live cattle dipped 0.27 cent to 91.35 cents a pound; August feeder cattle added 1.35 cents to $1.152; August lean hogs lost 0.48 cent to 72.97 cents; August pork bellies ended down 1.93 cents at 88.27 cents.
