Right Between the Ears honored at festival

For the second year in a row, “Right Between the Ears,” the radio comedy show produced in Lawrence, received a silver world medal in the category Best Regularly Scheduled Comedy Program at the 2007 New York Festivals broadcasting competition. Medals were awarded to 13 countries at an awards gala June 28 in Manhattan.

“Right Between the Ears” at 7 p.m. Saturdays on Sirius satellite radio’s Laugh Break 105, 6 p.m. Saturdays on KCMO-AM 710 and 7 p.m. on Kansas Public Radio stations.

The show is produced by Darrell Brogdon, who also serves as principal writer. Cast members include David Greusel, John Jessup, Mary Ellen Kriegh, Andi Meyer, Kip Niven, Roberta Solomon, Rick Tamblyn and Teri Wilder.

The next live performance of “Right Between the Ears” will be Sept. 15 at Liberty Hall, 642 Mass., with showtimes at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Liberty Hall and online at www.rightbetweentheears.org.
