Lawrence resident wins free energy for a year
Madhan Durai, Lawrence, joined four other customers of Aquila Corp. who received one year of free energy from Owens Corning during the Pink Ticket Giveaway.
The companies combined forces during the promotion to raise awareness about improving home-energy efficiency.
Kansas City, Mo.-based Aquila’s natural gas business for Kansas is based in Lawrence at 110 E. Ninth St. Owens Corning, the maker of Pink insulation, produces building materials and composite products, including roofing and siding.
