Columbia, Mo. ? Missouri senior forward Kalen Grimes, the team’s leading rebounder last season, was suspended indefinitely Monday for violating team policy.

The action comes after Grimes, of St. Louis, was involved in a weekend incident in Florissant. Florissant police deferred questions until Tuesday morning.

“I am extremely disappointed in the actions of Kalen Grimes,” coach Mike Anderson said. “Kalen will not be allowed to work out with our team and must take the necessary steps to not only earn the trust of his coaches and teammates, but the trust of Missouri’s alumni and fan base.”
