Kasold Drive reopens ahead of schedule

The Kasold Drive construction project is complete and all four lanes are open today, said Chuck Soules, the city’s public works director.

The $6 million project that stretched from Bob Billings Parkway/15th Street to 23rd Street was completed Friday evening, about three and a half months ahead of schedule.

The project to make repairs and rebuild the road began in the beginning of October.

The upgrades made the road less hilly and less prone to potholes. A wide sidewalk has also been added on the western side.
