City commissioners will have their regular weekly meeting at a special time Tuesday. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m., and mainly will involve taking care of routine business before the Independence Day holiday.

Consent agenda

¢ Approve City Commission meeting minutes from June 19.

¢ Receive minutes from various boards and commissions.

¢ Approve all claims.

¢ Approve licenses as recommended by the department of administrative services.

¢ Approve appointments as recommended by the mayor.

¢ Adopt on first reading Ordinance No. 8123, amending Section 17-502 of the city code pertaining to the designation of trafficway connections and repealing the existing section.

¢ Approve unanimous recommendations from the Traffic Safety Commission to:

a.) Deny a request to remove Bob White Drive from the traffic-calming project list.

b.) Adopt on first reading Ordinance No. 8124, establishing no parking along the south side of University Drive between Brittany Place and Crestline Drive.

c.) Adopt on first reading Ordinance No. 8122, establishing a stop sign on 23rd Street at Noria Road.

¢ Authorize the city manager to execute a license agreement with Sunflower Broadband for installation of conduit behind City Hall.

¢ Authorize the city manager to submit documents to participate in the auction of the former Farmland nitrogen plant.

¢ Receive city manager’s report.
