James skips game to rest big toe

? Cleveland forward LeBron James decided to rest his sprained right big toe by sitting out the Cavaliers’ game Tuesday night against Golden State.

The All-Star forward injured the toe during a Jan. 19 game at Denver and has aggravated the injury by playing in four games since. James missed Friday’s game at Philadelphia, but decided to play Sunday against Phoenix in a nationally televised game and tweaked his toe in the fourth quarter.

James hinted Monday he might take some extended time off to make sure the toe is 100 percent before he plays again. The Cavaliers have gone 7-2 in the nine career games their star has missed with injuries since 2003.
