Baldwin boys show mettle with rally

? Drew Berg scored 23 points, Blake Wieden added 17, and Sam Scott contributed 14 points and 14 rebounds as Baldwin won a thriller.

BHS (9-3) scored just eight points in the the first quarter, but rallied. The Bulldogs surged in front with a 24-10 third quarter, but it was tied at 58 with about two minutes left.

“We were turning the ball over early,” Baldwin coach Eric Toot said. “Once we got in the flow, we started executing our offense. That third quarter definitely got us back in the game. It was a real good win.”

Baldwin hit 22 of 26 free throws.

The Bulldogs will travel Friday to Eudora.
