Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital, Lawrence, recently received accreditation following a comprehensive evaluation by the American Animal Hospital Association.

The evaluation included a quality-assessment review of the hospital’s building, medical equipment, practice methods and pet health care management. To maintain accredited status, Clinton Parkway Animal Hospital must continue to be evaluated regularly by the association’s trained consultants.

The association – an international organization of more than 36,000 veterinary care providers who treat companion animals – has granted accreditation to 12 percent of small animal veterinary practices in the U.S.
