Four departments called to douse
Four fire departments responded Friday afternoon to a barn fire in rural Douglas County.
The fire at 374 N. 1250 Road began just after 1 p.m., emergency dispatchers said. Clinton Township, Wakarusa Township, Kanwaka Township and Eudora Township fire departments all responded to the blaze, with Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical providing additional water.
The fire was announced all clear at 2:12 p.m. It appears no one was injured in the fire, and no other structures were involved.
