Wellsville ? The Baldwin High girls basketball team weathered a strong comeback attempt and defeated Kansas City Piper, 64-56, Thursday in the semifinals of the Wellsville Invitational.

Kelsey Verhaeghe led Baldwin with 16 points.

Baldwin improved to 7-3 and will play Ottawa in Saturday’s championship game.
