To the editor:

I was awakened during the night by the sound of a car stuck in the neighbor’s driveway, tires spinning on ice and sleet. It was 3:45 a.m. and the driver began chopping ice in the freezing darkness.

The delivery of my Journal-World newspaper has been on time as though it was midsummer. I just wanted to give a big “thank you” to the wonderful people who allow me to remain in my warm home and catch up on the events of the day.
