LOUISBURG ? Jackie Goleman scored 16 points for the De Soto High girls basketball team, but the Wildcats were unable to overcome a sluggish third quarter in a 42-36 loss to Harrisonville (Mo.) in the Louisburg Tournament.

Up 20-19 at the half, the Wildcats (4-5) were outscored, 13-4, in the third quarter, allowing the visitors to steal the momentum.

Kira Gonzalez added 10 points for De Soto, which will play at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday against either Louisburg or Belton, Mo.
