Shockers upended by Bradley
Peoria, Ill. ? Zach Andrews scored 21 points on 8-of-9 shooting to lead Bradley to a 78-63 win over Wichita State on Saturday.
The Braves (14-7, 5-4 Missouri Valley) used first-half runs of 16-4 and 11-0 to take a 44-25 halftime lead.
Wichita State (12-8, 3-6) cut the deficit to as little as four in the second half, but could get no closer.
Will Franklin and Daniel Ruffin scored 17 points apiece, and Andrews grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds for Bradley.
Kyle Wilson led Wichita State with 15 points and eight rebounds.
