Elwood ? Olathe Christian outscored Veritas Christian by 24 points in the second quarter en route to a 55-26 high school boys basketball victory Saturday in the Elwood Invitational.

Michael Kay and Isaiah Dover led the the Eagles with seven points apiece, and Josh Masrud and Micah Barclay added four points each.

“We had some of the same problems, turnovers, rebounding, poor shooting,” Veritas coach Doug Bennett said.

Veritas (1-12) will play Hyman Brand on Monday in Overland Park.
