— Drew Berg scored 23 points as Baldwin High's boys basketball squad defeated Augusta, 62-56, on Saturday night in the championship game of the Baldwin Invitational.

The Bulldog (8-2) took their own tournament championship for the first time since 1992.

Baldwin City - Victor Ojeleye scored 33 points as the Cyclones won the third-place game at the Baldwin invite.

Anderson County 76, Wellsville 65

Baldwin City - Scott Samsel scored 20 points, but the Eagles fell in the fifth-place game at the Baldwin invite.

Perry-Lecompton 54, Kansas City Ward 37

McLouth - Sophomore center Andy Bowman scored 15 points as the Kaws won the championship game of the McLouth Invitational.

McLouth - Andrew Booth scored 16 points as the Bulldogs won the fifth-place game in their home tournament.

McLouth - Five players scored in double figures as the Bears won the seventh-place game at the McLouth invite.

Tonganoxie - Kelson Boyer scored 13 points, but the Cardinals fell short in the title game of the Tonganoxie Invitational.
