Administrator to talk about historic statue
Lynne Zollner, the city’s historic resources administrator, will be the keynote speaker at the Oread Neighborhood Association’s winter meeting Monday .
Zollner will talk about what opportunities are available now that the Oread neighborhood has been approved as a historic district by the state’s Historic Sites Board.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at Plymouth Congregational Church, 925 Vt.
The state approval ensures that certain historic preservation reviews must be completed before certain construction projects can proceed in the neighborhood. The designation also could allow some properties to apply for state tax credits and grants.
